Sustainable Leadership System™ — Terms of Use

Effective date: August 29, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Sustainable Leadership System™, including the Sustainable Leadership consultant, the Environmental Review, the Environmental Scoreboard, and related websites, content, tools, and services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by Sustainable Leadership (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Sustainable Leadership Provides

The Service is a leadership-development and consulting resource for examining leadership environments. It helps you observe and organise information, consider the relationships between Outcomes, Behaviors, Environment, and Leadership, become oriented within the Sustainable Environment Pathway™, identify areas that may deserve attention, and consider what to do next.

The Service supports your judgment. You remain responsible for your leadership, employment, organisational, personnel, and business decisions. No particular result or outcome is guaranteed.

2. The Sustainable Leadership Consultant

The consultant is an interactive consulting experience that applies Sustainable Leadership principles and framework. It may offer observations, questions, interpretations, an orientation, areas worth examining, and directions you might consider.

Consultant responses are generated using artificial intelligence and software, and they can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. The consultant is decision support, not a substitute for your own judgment or for professional advice.

3. Environmental Review and Orientation

The Environmental Review evaluates an environment. It does not grade, certify, diagnose, or evaluate the worth, competence, character, or leadership ability of any leader or employee.

A Pathway orientation describes where an environment appears to be based on the information available. It depends on the information you provide, is not independently verified fact, and is not a guarantee.

4. Your Responsibility for Decisions

The Service may provide direction, possibilities, and matters to examine. The decision about what to do remains yours.

Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for significant employment, disciplinary, termination, compensation, promotion, legal, financial, medical, safety, or other high-impact decisions. Consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

5. Information You Provide

The usefulness of the Service depends on what you tell it. You agree not to knowingly provide false or misleading information in order to cause harmful or deceptive conclusions.

Do not enter information you are not authorised to disclose. Avoid unnecessary identifying details or highly sensitive information about third parties, and comply with your organisation's policies and applicable law.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, store, and use that content in order to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the Service to you.

We do not acquire ownership of your content merely through your use of the Service. Our Privacy Policy governs how information is handled.

7. Feedback

Feedback you send is voluntary, and we may use it to evaluate, improve, develop, and operate the Service without compensation to you.

We will not publicly attribute feedback to you, or use your name, organisation, photograph, or a testimonial publicly, without your permission.

8. Accounts and Security

Keep your credentials protected, provide accurate account information, and notify us if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account. Do not attempt to circumvent membership or subscription requirements.

9. Beta and Pre-Release Access

Complimentary, beta, and pre-release access may change, contain errors, or be discontinued.

Beta participation does not require favorable feedback, an endorsement, a testimonial, or a public review. Candid feedback is welcome.

10. Memberships, Fees, and Renewals

Some parts of the Service may later require a paid membership or subscription. Where that applies, the price, billing frequency, and other material terms will be disclosed to you before purchase.

When purchase or checkout terms are offered, those terms become part of these Terms for that purchase.

11. Books and Included Benefits

A membership or offer may include a book, book access, a credit, or another promotional benefit. The exact terms of any such benefit will be disclosed with the offer.

No rights to any benefit arise automatically except as expressly stated in that offer.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service and its frameworks, methodologies, software, designs, branding, and materials are owned or licensed by us and protected by applicable law. This includes the Sustainable Leadership System™, the Sustainable Leadership Diagnostic Pyramid™, the Sustainable Environment Pathway™, the Environmental Review, the Environmental Scoreboard, and related proprietary consulting methodology.

You receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service. No ownership is transferred to you.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
  • attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the Service, or conduct security attacks;
  • introduce malware or impersonate another person;
  • systematically extract data from the Service, or reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits;
  • reproduce, sell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our permission;
  • use the Service to make unlawful discriminatory employment decisions, or to carry out intentional harassment, retaliation, abuse, or other unlawful workplace conduct.

14. Availability and Changes

The Service evolves. Features may change or be discontinued, and access may be affected by maintenance, security work, or legal restrictions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

15. No Professional Advice

The Service provides leadership-development, educational, and consulting support. It is not legal, medical, mental-health, accounting, tax, investment, HR-compliance, or other licensed professional advice unless expressly stated.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee availability, error-free operation, or the completeness, accuracy, suitability, or results of any output.

Rights that cannot be waived under applicable law are preserved.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, opportunities, goodwill, or data.

Our aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US$100. Exceptions required by statute are preserved.

18. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violation of these Terms, unlawful or abusive use, security reasons, nonpayment where applicable, or threats to people or the Service. Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

19. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account yourself from the Account page while signed in. Doing so permanently removes your Environments, Reviews, Scoreboard records, conversations, and account data, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or backup purposes.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice. The effective date above identifies the current version.

21. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an account.

22. Contact

Formal business and contact information will be provided before public launch.
